Most of my work falls somewhere "in between"... not a production cabinet shop... and not an old world custom furniture maker. Mine is an approach that yields practical solutions to unique design and construction problems. And solutions that consistently find ways to straddle the form/function fence.

After more than twenty years in the advertising, marketing, design and consulting businesses I have come to know a good bit about the production of change. Some of it necessary and positive... and some not so much. Most of what I made in those years is long gone.

I want to make things that last. But I am also realistic about what that means today. I accept that the greatest furniture and cabinetry ever made was made over two hundred years ago. I also accept that there is a very real balance between my customer's desire for lasting quality and the realities of "paying the bills."
